The students are to prove their ability as mentioned in the learning outcomes through the following criteria: -Creating a highly legible board (a set of panels that can speak and present for themselves without an oral presentation) - Understanding their skill set and strengths - Identifying what material they need and can produce within set timeframe - Extra marks for visual identity and/or a consistency in style

The final project is integrated with the final project for Architectural Design Studio. In Design Studio, I have created and designed a hideout for a dream client, Steve Jobs. Here in Design Communication, though, I am to communicate my design using the skills I have learned throughout the semester. This includes creating orthographic drawings and perspectives using proper techniques.

We were given the option to either produce an axonometric drawing to show the interior, or an interior perspective. I chose to the latter, as an axonometric drawing would be too large to fit unto the board. Thus, I have created:

3 perspectives (2 indoor 1 outdoor), 3 floor plans, a front elevation, side elevation and a section. The scale is 1:50. The drawings were first done on butter paper and then transferred unto 3 A2 art blocks and then inked using Artline drawing pens.

With this assignment thus concludes the Design Communication module for semester 1 of this programme.
