Under the tutelage of a lecturer, each group is required to choose a an elderly center among the group members. Each group is to perform a thorough study and analysis of the following services systems associated to the building:

i. mechanical transportation system

ii. mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning system

iii. fire protection system

This project concerns us with the planning of building services present in a larger, public building. We are now planning for services that are to be installed in one of our group member's current Studio 4 Elderly Centre designs, and thus that includes lifts, centralized air-conditioning systems, fire protection equipment, etc. We used Carol Wong's Elderly Centre design.

As each group has 5 members, we delegated our works and individually created our own proposals based on our own building service system. I worked on the air-conditioning proposal, and proposed a simple but efficient dual-zone centralized and packaged air-conditioning system.
